Skin Classic Skin Revision

The most beautiful skin in the world belongs to the young. Children have incredible, clear, porcelain skin. Sadly, with time and age our complexions clutter with unwanted change - spots, bumps, colour and textural issues, scars… it’s just not right.

Skin Revision treatments are performed using my beloved Skin Classic machine. It utilizes a hi-frequency modality which desiccates skin imperfections while leaving the epidermis largely intact. Removals heal quickly and only one treatment is generally all that is needed.

Microneedling

Microneedling is AMAZING, and justifiably, as the results are comparable to those achieved after invasive, painful laser procedures. The downtime is minimal and the price more affordable.

So what is microneedling?

Microneedling involves a cluster of sterile, surgical grade needles repeatedly puncturing your skin through an applied serum like hyaluronic acid. These thousands of tiny puncture injuries signal a healing response in your body; and that response is to stimulate the creation of collagen. It’s that simple.

Needling helps tighten, thicken and strengthen your skin. It improve skin texture and helps minimize fine lines, acne scars and large pores.

This treatment is a huge win as a stand alone appointment. For more dramatic results this service is bundled into a series with each progressive treatment using increased needle depth.

Cosmetic Tattoo

Permanent makeup or cosmetic tattoo involves iron oxide micropigment being embedded into your skin with a cosmetic tattoo machine or hand tool. The name ‘permanent’ is misleading, as this pigment is actually designed to fade. While the colour may appear gone over time, technically there is always a trace remaining. Hence the word ‘permanent’.

Micropigment is different than tattoo ink. It comes in more earthy, muted tones unlike the vibrant ‘stand out’ tattoo ink used in body art. This fading pigment is used for many good reasons; our faces change in shape as we age, our coloration tends to lighten, also styles change, and what if you just don’t love it?

Most people begin with eyebrows, and not only are they smitten with their beautiful new look, they quickly fall in love with the included morning time saving.

Eyeliner and Lip tattoo is also available with lovely healed results.

Paramedical Tattoo

Life can sometimes take drastic turns and sadly, some of us have the scars to prove it.

As a life-long painter I have always had excellent colour sense, and never has this knack for mixing colour come in more handy than when performing paramedical tattoo for Nipple/Areola and scar camouflage.

During a private consultation a realistic expectation of outcome is discussed.

Dermaplaning

Manual exfoliation temporarily removes unwanted peach fuzz or vellous hair, along with approximately 2 weeks build-up of dead, dull, dry skin. Your skin is immediately softer, noticeably brighter and much, much smoother after a dermaplane treatment.
