Your eyelids may swell a couple of days and be darker for 4- 5 days than when healed. They will appear healed in about a week, although deep healing takes 4-6 weeks. Your colour will develop over time, so please have patience.
2-3 hours after your tattoo, with clean hands, use one of the provided cotton rounds to gently blot both of your eyes; this is to remove any accumulated body fluid and crusting. Carefully apply a rice grain sized amount or less of Aftercare Ointment using a microbrush. Repeat 2 - 4 hours later.
Before bed blot again, and carefully reapply aftercare product. Use a clean pillow case and try not to sleep on your face.
Day 2 repeats the blotting process 4 times, morning, afternoon, evening, and night. Follow with a rice grain amount or less of Aftercare each time. You may shower with care, avoiding your face, and then gently remove any accumulated water using a Q-tip or tissue directly after.
On days 3 - 10, you no longer blot, just continue with aftercare ointment. Expect some itching as healing takes place. Do not disturb your lash roots.
You may ice (up to 5 min.) if covered in clean plastic wrap.
Avoid contact lenses for 24 hours.
Purchase new (bacteria free) mascara which may be used after 1 week.
Avoid rubbing or touching your eyes.
Avoid cleansers for 1 week.
Avoid sun, sunbeds, sauna, swimming and hot yoga for 7-10 days.
Eyeliner pigment is iron-oxide based, it naturally fades over time. Rate of fading depends on skin type, sun exposure and body chemistry; try to maintain healthy iron levels as low iron may result in more rapid fading. Most people have a colour boosting tattoo every 1-2 years.
Failure to follow these instructions may result in colour loss.
